when you choose to be compassionate, caring and truly believing you are deserving of a beautiful life, where you see, feel and are totally awake to all life around you. This to me is the idea of living a sacred life. Everyone is capable of opening their hearts and listening to their bodies, trusting intuition and questioning what it is that you really desire. I invite you to come practice with me and receive these wonderful tools that have given me the inspiration to embrace and love all that I’am. Yoga & Yoga Nidra
My yoga classes are very much an outcome of following my intuition. When it comes to sequencing and creating a theme for the class, my true creative style is best brought out by going with the flow and listening to the energies around me. I draw on what feels natural in the moment and then the class develops from there. Guiding you through a truly organic and heart felt class is important for you to feel free and safe to express your truest self.
Yoga combines the movement and alignment of the body with the complexities of the human mind, and becoming aware of our inner self, which has a huge capacity to affect both our mind and body.
Yoga Nidra, also known as Deep relaxation with inner awareness is a powerful method of creating physical, mental and emotional relaxation. Your body seems to be asleep whilst the consciousness is working at a deeper level of awareness. You may wonder what the benefits are to this, but if I told you that just 30 minutes of Nidra can equate to 2 hours of deep sleep (thats in Delta brain wave state) you can see why it would be amazing to make part of your life. Or that it improves memory and creativity, can help overcome addiction and trauma.
My classes are designed for all levels, I hope to give a sense of calmness, joy and connection so that you go away feeling clearer and invigorated and overall more open. The class can challenge you in any of these areas, mind, body or inner self, this isn’t something to shy away from, I strongly believe challenge is a great way to break down barriers and create breakthroughs and with practice you really are able to have insight and light bulb moments. Thats why yoga is a practice, when you start its only the beginning, anything is possible.
